York Karate regularly undertakes grading examinations which are nationally and internationally recognised (through the Karate Union of Great Britain and World Shotokan Karate Association).

The club's kyu gradings are taken by Sensei Garry Harford 7th Dan and Sensei Randy Williams 6th Dan every 3 months.


The next Kyu grading will be with Sensei Garry Harford 7th Dan.
